They did. Then I tried a virtual windows 10 on the Surface, this also worked. So I knew then a reset would work. Another note: The customer rung Microsoft for help and advice. They remoted onto the Surface, tried to install the fonts etc. Then told her the fonts weren't compatible with Windows 10 and that she needed to get new fonts from Dafont.
So they were no use. Have you tried it on another windows 10 device, I can't see it being a hardware issues on the SP4, sending it back wont resolve the issue, if its anything its software issue. Login as an administrator on the computer and install the font. Make sure to unzip the font and then install it. Otherwise make the user a local admin on the computer.
